This is a simple tool to open up the topic of our personal styles in conflict. Invite participants to think of a specific conflict that is challenging to them (they won’t have to share particulars about the conflict with anyone).
Put a chair in the middle of the group. Invite participants in any order to take turns acting in relation to the chair as they act in relation to their conflict. After someone finishes invite other participants to comment about what they noticed. Then invite the person who acted to say what they were expressing. Depending on time allow from 5 to 10 participants to act in relation to the “conflict chair.”
