TCTTs — Training of Conflict Transformation Trainers

The signature event of this Peace Warrior movement has been the 10-day intensive Training of Conflict Transformation Trainers.  Dan Buttry, who conceived and initially developed the TCTT likes to refer to it as “the Grad School of the University of the Streets.”

Using experiential education methodologies developed by people’s movements around the world and interwoven with spiritual disciplines, the TCTT explores topics of conflict dynamics, conflict resolution, personal conflict styles, mediation, dealing with difference and diversity, power dynamics, nonviolent transforming initiatives, developing movements for constructive change, trauma and trauma healing, reconciliation, the principles, practices and tools of experiential education, and sustaining oneself spiritual for the long struggle.  Extensive practice is woven into the training.
